Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings;
He will not stand before unknown men. – Proverbs 20:29

It is easy to get caught up in working only for wages, but Christians are called to work for the glory of God. A person who excels in his work is diligent. That person studies what’s in place and tweaks it to make it better. The person knows the needs of his customers and exceeds them. That person is prompt, accurate and quick to make adjustments wen he sees the need.

Joseph was sold into slavery, but worked hard and found favour with Pharoah, who elevated him to second in command.

How would it look like for you to excel? Would it mean staying up late at night to master a craft? Would it mean showing love to the one who does not deserve it? Would it mean going above and beyond your work description to benefit the company?

Would it mean having faith in Christ and allowing Him to carry you?

God Bless you!
